ABOUT PATRICIA GABLE

My dad was always writing something… poetry, letters and even letters to the editor of newspapers. I still have a handwritten letter from my dad that he sent to my grandparents during World War II when he was in the Navy in the Pacific. It was a long letter detailing the truth about what was going on over there that the news wasn’t reporting.

Because of all of this, I began writing when I retired from teaching. I’ve written short stories for children, nonfiction articles for an educational website, and finally I have written a novel for middle grade children: THE RIGHT ADDRESS.
